Daily activities allowed
individual participants to discuss topics in groups and
the research team summarized their general opinions.
Research assisted participants to interpret findings by
summarizing large amounts of information. Participants
learned what youth value and what to consider when making
recommendations that will help better their communities.
Without research,
information could not have been collected and presented.
With the help of research, participants gained a clearer
picture of the concerns and issues affecting today's
youth. Adults and youth can now have a better
understanding of themselves, their community, and their
future, and begin to make change!
