Jouvence  

So we all thought we were going to Montreal for a conference - chocolate croissants, Mont Royal, Rue St. Denis, here we come.... but then, we arrive at the airport, bus or train station, and they load us on ANOTHER bus and drive for two hours into the middle of nowhere!  Panic started to set in as people realized there wasn't even a corner store nearby to buy cigarettes and late night munchies - thank god for the Canteen! The opening ceremonies were our introduction to the week to come - and the "crazy human tricks" part of the talent show will probably remain in the memories of many of us for a long time! The rest of the week passed by in a blur of new friends, late nights, swing - fiddling - break dance sessions, an amazing talent show, videos, pamphlets, and songs written and recorded by none other than us, the superstar delegates of the SR2000 Jouvence conference - don't forget to check out the report to see all the cool stuff we produced! We ended off our crazed week by piling our sleep-deprived bodies onto yet another bus, this time headed to Quebec City. We took over the town, invading shops and cafes and distributing SR2000 postcards to unsuspecting Quebec citizens.
