Now that you have been selected as a delegate to Asia Connects, we want you to do so do some research and have a lot of fun! This will keep you to familiarize yourself with Asia and start thinkingin terms of how Asia affects your life. We have designed this fun and challenging Community Scavenger Hunt to prepare you for the confrence, which is only one short month away.

1. Look in your closets and throughout your home and try to find clothing or other iteam that were made in an Asian country or have brand names of Asian multinational companies. list as many as you can.

3. Do you know any one in your community (other than maybe your family members) who was either born in an Asian country or whose ancestors where originally form a country in Asia? If yes, tell us some abut them.e.g. Who are they? How long have been in Canada? Or, when their parents/grandparents came? From where? Why did they come? Impressions of Canada and where they grew up? Do they still have ties with their former home country? If no, are there any persons in your community who visited or worked in an Asian county? Talk to them. Find out where they went, how long they stayed, why did they go and their reactions to living in a foreign country.

4. Does your community have a restaurant that serve food from an Asian country? If yes, have you eaten there? Yes No Did you like the food? Yes No What did you like? What is the name of the restaurant?: Describe 3 dishes from the menu?

5. Go to your local grocery store and find up to five product that were either grown or packaged in an Asian country. List them and tell us how much they cost
