Hi everyone! Everyone at our conference on PEI hope that you all are having as much fun ans succes that we are having here. Our delegates are honestly blowing my mind away! They are so well informed about world issues and want to take an active role in the conference. You counldn't ask for a better group of students.

On Monday our group of students from Colonel Gray got to meet the other conference participants from the World youth exchange who are from all over Canada and Egypt. We then went to Island tel to do our opening ceremonies. After we got over the intitial shock that we had no VCR, we got down to business and pulled it off. We had a lot of fun during the opening aceremonies -- I think we all bonded!

Yesterday was our "Behinf the Headlines Day" We had two speakers (Paw Paw Mawley and Leo Cheverie) in to discuss issues that they felt are relvant and that people should know. Unfortunatley, the Egyptian students had prior committments and could not attend. Three delegates did a point to point to Wnnipeg, and they really enjoyed it and looking forward to having a web chat with winnipeg. We tried to have a web chat yesterday, but the computers were very very very very slow, and we ran out of time. But you should have been there for their in group discussuins, WOW is all that I have to say.\

A reporter from the Guardian (our local newspaper visites us and interview Kent, Tina and two delegates. He took a pitcure of one of our delegates using teh point to point. We had to phone up Krista in TO becuase we had no pomit to point scheduled at that time. And we must say that we were a little disappointed when Krista didn't kow who Pat Binns is. (PEI's Priemier.)

We have run into a few glitches and we would like everyone to know that he administartion at Comolonel Gray is behind us 100% and is helping us in every possible way to help smooth out the wrinkles.

Talk to yas later
Lori
