Burnaby, British Columbia SiteBurnaby, British Columbia: One hundred students from Burnaby South High School will participate in a program that includes a presentation by BC Premier Glen Clark , an examination of the media coverage of the situation in East Timor and personal testimonies by first and third generation Asian Students. "Remote sites" in BC (Kelowna, Prince George, and Kamloops) will be conducting their own one-day mini-conferences and conduct real-time debates via desktop videoconferencing. Two of Unicef's youth leaders from Cambodia will be hosted by Burnaby and will be on-line to answer questions from others. Highlights include performances of traditional Asian dances and songs as well as by contemporary Asian pop singers.
