Jennifer You Ju Clarke

Jennifer You Ju Clarke is a 0.5 generation Canadian. She lives in the small community of Roaches Line in Conception Bay North, Newfoundland. She teaches French Immersion Chemistry at Amalgamated Academy in Bay Roberts, Newfoundland.

Jennifer has had many experiences with the Asian culture - more specifically the Korean culture. In 1993, she was able to EXPOSE both sides of her identity by representing Canada at the '93 Expo in South Korea.

Jennifer's key issue regarding culture is to expose the (Asian culture) Korean culture to as many people as she can by comparing the many similarities as well as the difference.

Jennifer will share with us some of her Korean traditions when speaking at the NF Asia Connects Conference.
