Rescue
Mission: Planet Earth gives students an oppportunity to
learn more about the political process, both internationally and
domestically. They get a chance to see how the United Nations
system works, and to learn about its major agencies and how they
play a role in creating and sustaining changes in the our world.
In exploring varous parts of the international decision-making
process, students work towards developing a global
perspective. Futhermore, they begin to realize that there are
ways that they can and should participate in this process. Gaining
valuable knowledge and skills, while becoming empowered to be an
active participant in their own lives is the mission!
