Saudi Target Zones

After speaking with the Saudi Arabian delegation, who is involved with the National Commission for Wildlife and Development (NCWCD), I discovered their four main links to conservation: public awareness, legislation, captive reading, and re-introduction. Their "target zones" are youth participation and government recognition of NGO (volunteer organizations) initiatives.

The action plan consists of a visitor center at their headquarters inviting youth and the public to come and see what conservation is really about. It also includes regular visits to protected areas, which reflect the work of the Commission to preserve the natural environment and its components.
