Hey!
I just arrived in Brussels today after spending a day and a half in the U.K. and four wonderful days in Paris. Paris is an absoloutely beautiful and majestic city. I met up with most of the friends who I was going to be travelling with in the U.K. but had to meet one more companion from Brittany when I got to France.
We were staying at a really great youth hostel right in the center of Paris. The whole time I was there it felt like a fairy tale. I went to the Eiffel tower, the Louvre (the great art museum where the Mona Lisa is kept), the Chants de Lesayes, the Arch de Treomf and many more places that you usually only get to see in text books. When I went to the Eiffel Tower the view was perfect. You could see everything from the beautiful parks and gardens of Paris to the great architecture of the ancient city.
When I went to the Louvre I was blown away by the art. There were Picasso's, Rembrandt's and art by many other infamous people. Wandering around Paris and having coffee with friends... this is what life should be like all the time.
The only bad thing that has happened to far is that I lost 90% of my CDs on my way from London to Paris.
So I must sign off for now, this laptop is running out of batteries, and I am eager to explore Brussels.
luv
