In this issue we take a look at an evening out to a popular night club. The research for this was very exhausting and tedious, we hope we never have to do something like this again (we're joking!).
We'll assume that you have already got some gear to wear to the club, but if all you've got is your older brother's hand-me-downs and you want to be lookin stylin to pick up then you may want to visit the local mall, and our archives, to find out what you should be wearing.
On this occasion, our webmaster decided to head over to a friend's house so that they could go in a taxi together to save money. Cost of public transit trip to said friend's house: $2
Cost of taxi to the club (split 50/50): $7
Cover charge: $10
Getting to the front of the line cause you know Albert (the doorman): free this time, but the first few times you slipped him a ten :)
Coat check (it's winter time!): $2 plus $1 tip for cute girl doing the coat check
Not wanting to get dehydrated from the excessive dancing (more excercise than I'm used to), I must purchase beverages: $25 (all that water and fruit juice is expensive *wink*)
Dancing: free
Watching your friend fall off a speaker while dancing: also free, unless you count your sides hurting from laughter payment
Gum from vending machine: $2
Taxi back to friend's house (once again, 50/50 split): $7
Public transit back home: $2
The grand total is... $58 and a sore arm after your friend hits you for laughing at him for falling off a speaker.
