Sheila Baxter is an anti-poverty activist from Vancouver, who has written 4 books on poverty and homelessness. Sheila came to the SR2000 conference in Banff, and spoke about her book "A Child is Not a Toy". Listening to the voices of children living in poverty, as people read aloud from Sheila's book, was a powerful and moving experience.
