Brief Description

At the APEC SME Business Forum and Exposition, which was held prior to the Ministers' meeting, there was a special focus on young entrepreneurs. Export-ready young entrepreneurs from Canada and other APEC economies gathered to create business networks and matches that will enable them to grow their business and increase their export potential.

Successful young entrepreneurs also participated in Business Forum workshops and seminars and discussed public policy issues relevant to SMEs doing business in the APEC economies. They also assisted in developing recommendations to Ministers.
