I've been working with the Students Commission for one year now. I got involved when my friend, Kate, called me and asked if I wanted to go to Ottawa for a couple of days. I like being involved because I feel like I'm directly helping others just like me. I love playing rugby and I'm on my school's rowing team.

Kenny
Vancouver, BC
Kenny is a Grade 11 student from Vancouver, British Columbia. He was amazed by the concept of being involved in the community while working with a group of dedicated youths that individually share a different background and story. As member of the HBSC Youth Action Group, Kenny enjoys working with the mentors to develop ideas and suggestions that will improve the health of young people across Canada. In his spare time, Kenny likes to learn about business and politics. He hopes to attend a business school in the future and pursue a law career after.
