HOP CRAZE INSPIRED BY ANTHONY DISC Anonymous
A new dance craze is sweeping the country. It's the Bunny Hop and was inspired by Ray Anthony's recording of Bunny Hop!
Originally the whole thing began as a result of Anthony's Bunny Hop disc. The reaction was immediate and teens all over the country took up the dance.
Then down Texas way, the square dancers began doing the step and is spread like wildfire through all the areas where country dancing is popular.
Cliffie Stone and his Home-town Hepcats give the tune a country styling that has all the rocking rhythm of a hoe-down. The flip is another favorite "In a Shanty in Old Shanty Town." Cliffie's unique treatment dresses the standard up in blue jeans and a straw hat, making it very popular with the devotees of country music.
