Kathy lived in Conception Bay South most of her life, then moved to St. John's where she started volunteering as soon as she could. She started out at St. Clare's Hospital as a volunteer (candy striper), and was then introduced to YVC. Since then, she has volunteered for almost everything she could, received many certificates and gained many memories. Kathy says she volunteers because she loves meeting, helping and laughing with a lot of different people.
