Jackie Kripki, Saskatoon I have had numerous volunteer experiences including Youth Groups and helping out at the International Students Office at the University of Sasktachewan. For the past 2 years I have been volunteering regularly for Shaw TV, Saskatoon's local cable channel. Through this I have been lucky enough to work on hundreds of TV productions, and even landed a job hosting a show. The work experience one gains as a volunteer is extraordinary, but the best feeling is knowing you have helped someone through difficult circumstances. Volunteering can be especially rewarding if you help with something you feel is important. In the future, I plan to volunteer for a literary program and take a volunteer vacation to help scientists in other countries trying to save the environment.
