Captain Ken Percy, Salvation Army, Saskatoon

Many charities, sports, special events, schools, clubs, even health services would not function with the success they do without the able assistance of volunteers. While volunteers are valuable to the organization they serve, they also reap a measure of contentment for themselves. They make use of skills and have the satisfaction that they are making a worthwhile contribution. First, they help the individuals; second, they help the organization they are supporting; and third, they help the community where the organization operates.
